Julian Kastrup represents over thirty players across three countries, and signed Leeds Tykes striker Tunde Adeyinka, eighteen, on the strength of a single hat-trick in a U21 fixture that happened to be scouted by the right people.
He has since lined up serious interest from two clubs abroad and is pushing hard for a January move, describing it to Tunde's family as “the kind of opportunity that doesn't wait around for certainty.”
Tunde has told his parents, quietly, that he isn't sure he wants to leave the club that's developed him since he was eleven. Julian arranged a video call with a European club's sporting director before clearing it with the family first, which did not go down well when it came to light.
Leeds Tykes' academy staff have since had a direct conversation with Tunde's parents about the pace Julian is setting. Tunde, for now, is still training as normal and hasn't made any decision either way.
