For three weeks running, her segments have circled the same question about Newcastle Borderers striker Danny Pearce: genius or liability. This week's edit paired his latest wonder-goal directly against footage of his training-ground bust-up for the first time, cut together deliberately.
Danny's club media officer called the framing “lazy narrative-building dressed up as analysis” in a brief statement. Priya's response, on-air the following Saturday, was that she's simply asking the question every fan of the club is already asking themselves.
Both things can be true. Danny, for what it's worth, hasn't commented either way.
